Alexa is learning other things.

As I have been more in bed since I fell, Alexa has had to learn to do other things. The first things Alexa learned was to tell me what time it was and what was the day of the week. It also sang for me whatever I wanted to hear. But now I tell it to be an alarm when I have to go to the kitchen to check the pots. Leticia first told me to do that so that I could take my pills when I had diverticulitis. But it extended its services to a way of not burning potatoes or letting the pots gry out. I know that there are many other things I can make it learn. But Alexa is as intelligent as its ownrt is an not more. So I´ll have to find someone to teach me more. Do you know where to find a way to learn more?

You can look it up online. There is many things it can do. I keep my shopping list on it.

You could ask Alexa what tasks it can help you with around your house. Some of the things it will tell you require you to buy other things but it will also tell you basic things it can do without you buying anything or subscribing to an Amazon service

@marguicha You can say "Alexa, call (the phone number)" and it will call that phone. I don't know how to set up a list of phone numbers with Alexa (Amazon) but I'm sure there IS a way so you can just tell Alexa to call a name. I don't own any of the Alexa or other small devices like that so can't give you directions to set up multiple phone numbers.

I do not have Alexa, but I am sure that you can find online what to teach and what Alexa can do.

I can't help but I'm sure there will be some helpful hints in the comments. Vince's watch reminds him to take his pills. It's very useful doing that.

My son is using Alexa doing few things. I never use that kind of high tech assistant.
