Happy Friday Everyone! it's a sunny but hazy morning here with thunderstorms possibly this afternoon and into tonight. Weekend looks iffy with rain and more storms. I don't have anything planned but a rainy weekend is still a big thumbs down
Yesterday I had unexpected company. I know I mentioned that my neighbor across the street moved and new people moved in. I was kind of sad that my neighbor didn't say good-bye and we didn't realize they had moved until the POD showed up in the driveway and new cars and people were around.
My doorbell rang yesterday afternoon and my neighbors were standing on the porch. What a surprise! The whole family (dad, mom and both sons). I always have a pot of coffee on so we had coffee and chatted a bit before they had to leave. I was so touched that they came by just to say good-bye to me and my daughter. Their oldest son just graduated from middle school so it was just another reminder of how fast time is flying by and they were newlyweds when they moved in right after I moved into my house. We all agreed that the past 15 years flew by.
Today is just a regular day for me. House stuff and trying to decide which book to pick next from my TBR pile.
My daughter finishes work early with her summer hours so who knows what the afternoon will bring.

That was sweet of them. Apparently, the missing neighbor lady from next door, is alive and well. I mistakenly got something from her credit card in my in my mailbox.

@snowy22315 we used to theorize the same thing in our previous house except the mother was never seen but the son was always around.

That was nice of them to come by. I was thinking they had just left with no goodbye as you started your post out. 15 Years is a long time to be neighbors.

Thats why I felt bad thinking they had just left with no goodbye. It hard to believe we're here for 15 years already.

It was so thoughtful of them and I am really going to miss them. They're moving to a more countrified part of PA and I laugh when he says that our little town is getting too New York

I'm glad your neighbors came to tell you goodbye. At least you got closure with them.
Nothing happening here, either. I've done dishes and cleaned counters in the kitchen. I'm ready to take my morning nap now.

@Marilynda1225 I don't mind at all when nothing is happening here. I like my routine and am not crazy about changing it for anybody else.

I hate it when we got new neighbors cause you NEVER KNOW
what they are about or where they came from & these days you
