Great to see someone paying early

It's really great when money hits our accounts early, of that there is no doubt at all ,
But see the number of times money is late from other sources really annoys me.
I have been waiting for over a month on a road tax refund from the DVLA.
They are quick enough to remind us when our vehicles need taxed but seems to be really slow in handing back what we are owed.

Tried phoning, no joy.
.
Sent an email, no reply.
Not good enough is it DVLA

@Ineeddentures - We always paid our taxes, I immediately paid the tax on the sale. It is ridiculous that they keep money during 12 months "just to be sure"!.

You will be waiting on a lot bigger amount than I am but the principal is the same

And it bugs me because I pay all our bills on time and we don't owe anyone anything

@Ineeddentures As it should be. Those that hold balances on their cards more often than not throw money away in high interest.

It bugs me with the DVLA because I have 4 or 5 vehicles most years and I spend a fair bit of money on taxes etc ...
If I was late I would be fined

The thing that bugs me the most is that all these things are electronic so should be instantaneous
