Back from picking up supplies for the trip

Even though I won't be doing the bulk of the driving, I still needed to get some snacks and meds to take on the trip. I went to Dollar Tree since I was in town. I completely forgot to get bday and fday cards though. I will have to stop on the way out. I sent a present up they got today. It was easier than having another thing to drag up there. Tonight will be busy though as I have to do laundry. I have barely started packing, leave tomorrow and I won't be here until Monday afternoon. Friend will come down over the weekend to check on Nico. How was your day?

I’m glad you got to have a chance to get everything together. I hope you have such a nice visit. Today I called everyone I could think of, and went to the office every hour on the hour, but once again, no one showed up. I did talk to my dad today, and he said he had to go see my BIL tomorrow to bring him something. So he wanted to know if I wanted to make the trip to see my sister and her family tomorrow after my doctor appointment (sans Amyra who will be at church camp). I said sure because it beats going home and waiting for people who never appear.

@snowy22315 I wish they at least had an answering service. No one picks up and then it says, “Sorry, this phone is not configured”. I mean, they have a phone to just give a number to appear legit? No one answers, and no one can leave a message…
But I shall keep at it! My friend, snowy, inspires me not to give up!
Did you find any new kind of snacks? I got this new one that is vegan, but not bad. Eventually, maybe you can try one. I’m always wary of the vegan ones (It’s American).

@AmbiePam New? Not really. I have the dried apples in a bag, but I have had those before. There were unlimited snacks yesterday at the focus group. I wisely limited myself to a Cheetos snack bag, and sugar free diet Coke. Your situation is rough. Not sure what to tell you kid, but we're pulling for you.

Thanks, I will..I will be on tomorrow morning though. We can't leave until nephew gets off of work..and says it will probably be 7 before he is ready.

You must be going with someone if you aren't doing the bulk of the driving.
I used to be a snacker in the car, but now we usually just stop along the way as I use the washroom more often then I used to.

Well, we will be traveling over the dinner hour so I need something so I don't starve.
Nephew won't eat anything. He will have a light dinner and that will be it. He is one skinny guy. He's the only thin member of the family. Not that everyone is obese..but we like to eat!

I hope you got everything done. Yesterday someone came out to peruse my weeds. He has a couple of solutions. I may go with the more expensive one because there will be less weeds to choke my flowers.
