A Lot Done

It is after 7 and still no rain today. The sun has even come out. They totally missed the forecast this time. I will need to water some of the potted plants when I post this. I cleaned the chicken coop, planted my gourd plants and got the back porch cleaned and hosed down. I did get the dishes washed but that is all inside. I think I have found the canopy I want. It has removable walls so would be great even as the weather gets cooler. I need to order it before the end of the weekend. It's on sale right now. So I will probably do that tomorrow evening. Hope you had a good day.

I wonder if my gourds have sprouted yet? I'll have to go out after while and water them and see if they're coming up yet. (I couldn't see yesterday so couldn't check them then.) It rained off and on during the day yesterday and is sprinkling right now. The Weather Channel shows we'll have more storms/rain during the day today. Pretty wanted to go out for pizza yesterday evening but we couldn't go... *shrug* Hope you had a good night.

We had hit-and-miss rain. My brother said he had a good half an inch of rain at his house, but it didn’t rain at all at my house (about 15 miles away).

You're such a busy person. You've accomplished much. I may not be that productive today as I have aching bones and muscles and I'm sure it's a part of the natural process of growing old.

You are again very productive. My weather cooled but no rain so I need to go drag the hoses around to garden spots. I've been busy cause tomorrow is hubby's birthday. We'll have visitors in the afternoon. That means I am chopping carrots and walnuts for carrot cake plus tidying and dusting and doing floors etc..... I even mowed the wacky quack grass area on the street side of the property.

We had some rolling thunder for awhile, then a few sprinkles. It went around us. I have been busy most of the day, but I don't think I got nearly as much accomplished as you did.
