Google Went Crazy...

I woke up yesterday and wondered what time it was... I have blackout curtains in my bedroom so looking at the windows doesn't help figure it out. My phone is always beside me so I picked it up. In the upper left hand corner, it always shows the time, but doesn't show if it's am or pm so I Googled " I live in Missouri. What time is it?" Google told me it was 3:02 pm... My phone was still showing 9:32... so I was still confused... I got up and went to find Pretty... She laughed and told me it was 9 at night. Why was Google trying to confuse me further? It made no sense... I took a screenshot so I could show you. I hope this also shows the real time in the upper left hand corner of the screenshot. Screenshot is mine.

Maybe it went to Missouri in another country. I don't know if there is one or not.

We have darkening shades in our bedroom also. I rely on the alarm clock for the time.

We have blackout curtains through the whole house. The sunlight can hurt my eyes. I have an alarm clock on the headboard but it doesn't show am or pm, either.

@DaddyEvil Alarm clocks, and clock radios have become such a thing of the past it seems. But they really did do the trick.

@Juliaacv I agree... I used to have a clock radio on the headboard that had big numbers and said am or pm on it. (I never used the radio part.) We don't even have a radio in the house anymore. I only hear the radio now if we're driving somewhere and Pretty turns it on in the car.

they are now using AI so if the data is not there then they will automatically show what is there.

AI is blocked on my laptop and isn't available on my phone.

I've been wondering that, too. It's always possible.

I have had naps at random times since my college days. Is it morning? Is it evening? Heck if I know. I believe it to be late Sunday morning right now.

The last time I looked, it was Sunday afternoon in my part of the US. I just went in and made a ham and cheese sandwich for lunch. Have a good day, pony.

That's pretty strange. Did it come good later. Perhaps it needed to be able to see out the window too!

That is just messed up. I wonder why it happened? I fall asleep in the car sometimes and do not know where I am or where we are going if I wake up. That is a weird feeling as well.

Sometimes I get confused in the car while I'm driving and can't remember where we're going. I use the GPS all the time now and just drive until it tells me I've arrived at my destination. I'm sorry that happens to you.

It must have lost the signal from whatever satellite or data point it was bouncing off of.

It kept giving me the same information for about half an hour. That's a long time to lose signal and the rest of the internet to still work correctly.

Weird. Even the better part of the internet goes bonkers from time to time. Happy Dad's Day.

Sorry about that. Yeah, I actually asked online what time it was after telling it where I live.

That's very strange. We have blackout curtains too. Hubby used to get confused when it got dark early in the evening. He didn't know if it was AM or PM. I hope you and Pretty had a good day.
