Fish and Chips
Now I know that the picture at the top of the post doesn't exactly look pretty.
But don't let that put you off of eating fish and chips.
It's Haddock and it's tasty.
The child are really great.
Italian people own the chip shop and work in it and they really do know what they are doing
Fish and Chips wrapped up in paper , nothing quite like it when you get home a bit to late to cook
Salt and Vinegar on them.
Yum

@Ineeddentures Honestly, it looks like the haddock that we get here.
The shape and the size of it.

Can I ask how you knew it was Haddock?
The other place we go for Fish and Chips the Haddock isn't the shape of this Haddock.
So it must be the shape that you recognised

I'm away from non veg food. So I don't know what the fish would taste like. But chips? Yes. We often eat them. And that's something that goes well for a change.

We like them doused on vinegar.
It soaks into the food mixed with the salt.
One of life's true pleasures.

@Ineeddentures I had my first pineapple fritter (with ice-cream) when Vince took me to the drive-in in Perth before we were married. I always say that's when I decided to marry him. lol

Oh yes please
Pineapple fritters.
It's years since I had a pineapple fritters.
I want one now.
I can relate to enjoying the battery but I couldn't just eat it and not eat the fish, not want to.

I have had tartare sauce in the past, but with my haddock I usually have mushy peas and pickled onions.
Oh, and we found the cod was now more expensive than the haddock….it used to be the other way round.
