Kitty protects me.

It was a long day today. I had to cycle to and from the the car fix-it place twice to get my truck repaired.
And then I had my longest day of the week at Guitar Center.
Kitty was growling just now. She was actually standing her ground.
I went to the door, which was open, and spied the raccoon who has been invading our humble abode recently.
.
I spoke to the critter kindly but firmly. It finally scurried off.
I thanked Kitty for standing her ground. She is now at my feet, looking quite content and swishing her tail.
I will close the front door soon and head to bed.

A long day like this is definitely tiring, isn't it? But if it is something what you love, then you don't even feel the pain of doing all those things. This mostly happens with me.

@TheHorse May be due to playing guitar... Because it needs a particular position to play. Isn't it? I've seen people in that posture. That's why I said.

@TheHorse Really? I'm allergic to furbabies... But Pretty really loves them and wants one so much... Sometimes she finds one of the neighbor's cats out prowling in our yard. She'll pick it up and play with it and then come home and I have allergic reactions bad enough that I have to use an epi-pen.

I hope that the truck is repaired and it does not trouble you any more. Kitty should be rewarded for standing her ground. Raccoons seem to be regular visitors there. Aren't they scary?

I am glad Kitty was there for you. I never had a raccoon come clear inside. When I was at my other house and had my sister's dogs there was a pack of young ones that would gang up and access the dog food that was in a metal trashcan with heavy things on top. I did have apossum invite itself in to eat cat food.

Wow, what a day! You powered through so much already, and then Kitty stepped up like a little furry hero. It’s amazing how animals just know when to hold their ground. Sounds like she was proudly protecting her territory—and you! I'm glad the raccoon got the message. Here’s hoping you both get a peaceful night’s rest. Give Kitty an extra treat from all of us animal lovers out here

She wants to be sure that you are all right and protected otherwise her food supply and water supply is threatened,
