Happy Saturday!!
I managed to get up early-- around 7 am. My goal was to get up, get dressed, go to town to drop off package at the post office, and go to the grocery store for bread. My husband had a stop at the hardware store, but changed it to the auto parts store.
The auto parts store was the last stop and the owner was a little late in opening. We had to wait about 10 minutes for him to get there. No biggie.
After all of those stops were made, we stopped in at the bakery and got a couple of pastries to go along with our coffee when we got back home.
So no cooking breakfast today, we cheated with a sugary and high carb treat.
It's going to be another pretty day here without any rain. I plan on getting in the garden and doing some weeding. I need to see what else I can plant this late and also get those peach trees in the ground. I also want to repot most of my lilies. I never got that flower bed made for them and that won't happen this year either so, we will repot them and freshen up the soil too. I doubt that I get that far today.
What are your plans for this day?

I need to repot all my indoor plants but won't do it when it's this hot...
I already mowed around the house and garage this morning before it got hot so I'm planning on getting my sleep, like normal.

@DaddyEvil Thanks, I've never been a morning person and seeing how I am still up at midnight, actually after midnight now, I probably won't make it up before 8-8:30 am. We will see!

@kareng Thanks... The mowing didn't need to be done but I don't like the yard looking so raggedy.

Those things in the picture look like Cimannon Swirls.
Sugary and high carb indeed but really tasty
Sounds like you will be busy in the garden so I will let you get back to work

@Ineeddentures I think the hubby stayed out for about 40-45 min. this afternoon. But, he went out right before the rain started and the temp was falling, and a breeze blowing so all good.

That's very sensible.
Whether I could endure even 15 minutes is rather doubtful.
I would need a lot of time to acclimatise

I always go out on Saturday mornings by myself, get what has to be gotten at the grocery store and then come home to my hubby. Today we went out together after I got home as he needed some new shirts, and he actually bought 5 of them without flinching, which is so not like him. I guess he was really tired of what he had.

Stay cool and hydrated. The weed guy and his assistant took out about a zillion pounds of 5 foot weeds today. The flower bed looks so much better. How is your itching?

It is Saturday night. Today I had a lot of works to do. Tomorrow is Sunday, a day off my shop.Tomorriw is Sunday. I'll take rest and prepare myself for the next week.

I want a cinnamon roll really bad...but I am holding off until I can make some. It's just too hot right now.
I got out yesterday and pulled the weeds, Not my favorite task but it's done now. I wanted to do it after that big rain we had, and that worked out very well, they came out of the ground very easily.
