Lots of pollen

We got to Oklahoma yesterday in time to go out with a group we have known for years. My meal at Longhorn Steakhouse was salmon over garlic rice, and roasted brussels sprouts and asparagus. I had raspberry tea. My only complaint was that the waitress kept our tea too full, over and over again she refilled our tea. I will have to say I was up a lot during the night for the bathroom. It is hot here, and everywhere else. And the pollen count is high. My sister-in-law has been sick for a while with something like bronchitis, and my brother is not feeling well today. We still are having a nice visit. We bought some special smoked sausage that is house made at a grocery in Hillsboro. That is what we ate tonight. We had homemade waffles this morning. My SIL and I went to some thrift shops today as well. I think Bob and I will leave early in the morning to try to make it to church in Newton before going home. I will be normal or more nearly so come Monday. All the fireworks stands are being set up and ready to sell.

The allergies are fierce right now. I’m so glad you’re able to enjoy your visit. A firework stand is at the end of the street from the church. Fireworks are just not for me.

The salmon dinner sure sounds nice. I love salmon and asparagus. Sorry to hear the pollen count is high. I can't handle that.

I love Longhorn Brussels sprouts. Red Lobster's are even better. I'm sorry your SIL and brother are not well. Drive safely.

I suppose they think that, with it being so hot, everyone wants to drink a lot. Truthfully, the one thing I’d never complain about is having a server keep me swimming in tea. The pollen count is high, the temperature is high, and the humidity is high. Blah. I saw an Oklahoma meteorologist on Facebook post a recipe for “mailbox lasagna” yesterday. Stay cool and have a good time!

It sounds like, other than the heat, you're enjoying yourself.

Omg yes I know exactly what you mean about drinking too much tea. It's not the best. Sorry that the pollen counts is high, I'm not a fan of fireworks so if there were none I would be happy
