Its a very hot and muggy day here. And from what I have noticed it is widespread.
It is barely noon here and is already over 31C with 88% humidity. The air quality is quite poor outside. I will do what I can to stay busy inside.
I have been thinking about supper.
Something easy to fill us but not heat up the kitchen. I think that I will put a tenderloin into the slow cooker. I have to put some dijon mustard and spices on it and get it going soon.
Maybe a little stir fry of vegetables to go along with it and some baby potatoes.
What will you have for supper on this summer Sunday?

I made turkey salad for sandwiches. (I boiled eggs last night when the temp dropped here.) And we have non-milk ice cream for dessert. We have steamed veggies in the fridge that only need to be warmed in the microwave if we want more. (Broccoli for me and sliced potatoes with onions and carrots for Pretty.)
It is 90F/32C with 50% humidity at noon. (That is higher than the Weather Channel called for by the late afternoon.
) We're staying in the AC with blackout curtains drawn closed.
Pretty already did the dirty dishes this morning.

@DaddyEvil Yes, many who have no a/c depend on going to the large department stores to feel the coolness.

@Juliaacv Me, too! Or those who work in large department stores. I always smothered during the summers while working in Walmart.

We are at 93 or 34 for you at almost 6 in the evening.
I often just throw potatoes in with the roast in the last hour and then a veggie not long before turning it off. Only one pot to heat up that way.

We cooked a catfish stew which was yummy. I'm fighting a bad UTI, but antibiotics are helping. I'm pretty sure I passed a kidney stone Thursday.

it's a steamer here too, we don't do any cooking when it's
as hot as it is, we just eat something cold like potato salads
or cold sandwich's or cereal, something that fills us till it
cools off.
