Poor Claire is not herself

That was clear as soon as they brought her out in the carrier. I thought maybe I'd see a spark of energy from her when I turned on the car but nope. She didn't meow a single time on the way back here. When I opened up the carrier in here she army crawled behind the loveseat and is presumably under it sleeping. I hope she is okay and just still feeling the effects of the anaesthesia and/or vaccines.

I hate that she's hiding under the couch where I can't see her. I'd rather she be on the bed or on the cat tree.

I was glad to read that she is acting more normal even though she hasn't forgiven you yet. She will.

Is she traumatized by everything? Maybe she has shut down due to the stress. Poor little Claire.

Well, let's hope all will be well again with Claire, From what I remember of my first girl cat I tole you we took her home say day she was fixed, By the next day she was trotting about, I saw some blood drops around the stitches and called the doc, He said if she's trotting let her lick herself and soon all should be well, He was absolutely right, So let us hope that with Claire it is also a matter of something that will regulate itself and she will be running amok again,

She probably feels like a truck parked on her. But if she doesn’t perk up soon, call the vet. Poor baby!

It usually takes them awhile to come around. She will probably be out, when she feels a bit better.

I hope she feels better soon... Can you imagine how one of us would feel if we were taken away from our home, put to sleep and, when we wake up, we hurt and don't understand why? I'd probably crawl away somewhere that looked safe and hide until I felt better, too.
