Hello everyone. I hope your day is off to a good start. It is 64 degrees F and cloudy here at the Jersey Shore. The high for today is just 71. I'm not mad about that after the past several days of extreme heat. I have the AC off and the windows open.
I woke up at 5:30 as usual. I swear it is going to take me until August to sleep until 8. 
My sweet Claire was laying on the bed with me. She is back to her happy self which makes me feel so much better. Her incision looks great.
No big plans for the day. If the sun comes out later I'll head to the pool. I think it is supposed to stay cloudy though. I'm sure I'll get up to something in the kitchen in any case--maybe cinnamon rolls or key lime ice cream. We shall see.
What's everyone else up to today?

64F is a fine temperature
Perhaps a little bit hotter would be ideal
It's not sunny here either
But I hope the sun comes out for you and you can get to the pool later on

I'm glad Claire is doing so well. Cinnamon rolls and Key Lime ice cream sound good. I remember when we went to the Keys one time we would stop in the evening before bed at a different restaurant each night. We would have a piece of Key Lime Pie and a cup of decaf coffee. Such good memories.

High overcast and 22°C/72°F, might get to 29°C/84°F by 5 pm but slowly cool off after that.
I'm gonna pack up some nastier gardening tools than Juanita has (Yes, she's dragging me back to Hamilton to tackle her front yard that's trying to take over the sidewalk... city's on her case again).

Good morning... It is 73F in my part of Missouri and cloudy. The forecast last night said we had a 2% chance of rain/storms today. This morning it is saying we have a 50% chance of rain/storms today. 
The high for today is showing 84F by late this afternoon.
My stomach is still acting up so I'll stick close to the house. We had been talking about going grocery shopping but that will have to wait.
I'm glad Claire is back to normal now. I was worried about her.

That's good news that Claire is doing okay.
Weather here is pretty much similar to yours. Light rain today but the temperatures have cooled off so we get a day to recuperate before it gets hot again.

We are going to a 'soup night' at the clubhouse tonight. I might go to my friend's house and help her peel 4 kgs of potatoes. She is making potato and leek soup. Another friend has been asked to make 10 litres of minestrone but she is getting her chef son to help.
