Not quite the thing I hoped for

The banana halwa that I made at home tasted great but a normal halwa can be cut into pieces But this one I cannot .
My impatience obviously played a role and I put off the flame a bit earlier resulting in a soft halwa that now needs to be scooped out
It has great taste what with a good amount of sugar, ghee and almonds on top.

In England we call that “slop”
Try making banana bread next time. You won’t be disappointed.

What name to give to what I prepared with so much love and care you leave that to me. What is banana bread compared to this exotic banana halwa The only thing is I should have cooked it for some more time. This is how a well cooked halwa looks

I've done that with homemade fudge once. It tasted delicious but, because I didn't let it boil long enough, it wouldn't set up and harden so it could be cut into bite-sized pieces. Pretty and I ate it with spoons.

@allknowing - Surely it needed a longer cooking time.

I would just dig into it with a spoon and add some carnation milk or any evaporated milk.
It looks ok
Taste is what counts and it tastes good
Not a disaster, quite good, yum
