Hello everyone. I hope your day is off to a good start. It is 75 degrees F and rainy here at the Jersey Shore. The high for today is 87 and it is supposed to be cloudy and humid. Yeah I'll be keeping the AC on. I thought I was taking a nap when I laid down yesterday evening but then I wound up waking up at 3am. So much for a nap. Oh well it is fine. I don't have any big plans for today and nowhere to go aside from the pool. I love not having to worry about a schedule during the summer. I have some kitchen projects on deck so we'll see how much I can get done with that today. I at least want to do the blueberry barbecue sauce today but I'd also like to do bread and butter pickles. Just trying to use up what is in the fridge so I don't have to throw it away. What's everyone else up to today?

Good morning... It is 69F at 3:10 am in my part of Missouri. We have a projected low tonight of 66F and 100% humidity, The high for today is supposed to reach 82F by late this afternoon. As long as I can see when I wake up this morning, I'll go get the car inspected and get new tags for it. Pretty is wanting me to go to the bank and withdraw some cash so we can go eat at a local Chinese restaurant. (They only accept cash.) The construction crew finished blowing insulation into the walls yesterday. They won't be back until the storm window manufacturer finishes make the new storm windows. Who knows when that will happen. As far as I know, we don't have any other plans... I hope you have a great day.

@NJChicaa We have to go to the bank to get cash... Our payments are directly deposited, as well.

@DaddyEvil same and I hate that the places with ATMs around here still wind up costing me $3-5 when the bank dings me for a withdrawal that isn't from them.

I love bread and butter pickles. Blueberry BBQ sauce sounds interesting. I could go for some blueberry pancakes with blueberry syrup!!!

I brought some blueberry BBQ sauce home from vacation once for my dad and his wife. He said that was the best BBQ sauce he ever had. Made me wish I had tried it!

I'm intrigued by your blueberry bbq sauce. Sounds yummy and of course I love bread & butter pickles. Hope you have some time for a swim today and the weather cooperates. It's cloudy here and we are expecting storms later on.

That's really some nap. But then one can have that kind of nap when body demands for it and the mind is relaxed. Glad that you had that. I hope you can go ahead with some bit of kitchen projects as you plan to.
