What a Shock!

I went to do some things on my laptop and found it DEAD. Poor thing. Microsoft Edge was nill and void. I freaked. My grandson came to my rescue, did some diagnostics and found it the same. So, in a while he will come and attempt to put Firefox on it. I hope that is successful and I can use it again. I expect a laptop to last me at least 5 years. This one still has about 2. I hate to be without one. Some things I would rather do on it. I guess I will see what happens. Wish me luck.

I prefer using my laptop rather than my phone when I go online. I want the large keyboard since I learned to touch-type when I was still in high school.
I hope your grandson can install Firefox and it works well for you. Good luck!

He gave me a choice. Either Firefox or a gaming one he uses. I chose the latter. It is very different than ME but I hope I can learn to navigate it.

As much as you love your computer, you may want to replace it before it croaks. Especially now that the prices of them are going up and then going up some more.

I am scared to go near mine
I am used to doing everything on the phone now so the laptop doesn't matter

I totally get that.
I like watching sport on my.laptop more than on my phone
And ao like looking at YouTube on the laptop bester as well so laptop does have it's good users

I need to get another couple years of use out of it before I get a new one. Glad he was able to fix it for me. I used it yesterday.

My last one did that. We discovered my charging cord was not working so had to get a new one. I hope you don’t have any more problems!
