Do you like your phone?

I’m really happy with my phone. Before I had a smartphone, I didn’t know what I was missing. It’s an iPhone X, and it was brand new 4 years ago for only $200. Everybody in my family was able to get that one for that price. I don’t need the latest and greatest, but it IS hard to imagine ever going back to a regular cell phone or to just a landline. Before this one I had a Samsung, and it must have been an older version because its features were not impressive at all. My best friend loves her Samsung, but hers is much newer. Do you like your phone?

I just got the new Apple iPhone 16 in the spring, and I really enjoy the features on it. Plus it is pretty. I choose a blue phone, black phones aren't for me, and they did not have any white ones. I have a nice clear case on it with a clear pop socket with tiny light blue butterflies on it. It looks great.

I think my eyes lit up when you started describing the case and pop socket! I know I would love it!

@AmbiePam I will have to try to take a picture of it on my husband's phone to show you. It is pretty, and I actually get a compliment every single time that I have it in my hand.

My phone turning out OK , Trac phone, unless you poor like me do not get one. It seems to upload all kinds of crazy apps, but I just needed it for pass codes because corporate America swears you need a phone so they can protect you. I think they made me less safe, but at least they see what I am using it for and so far very fair in price, even though would be more fair if you did not make me get one.

My phone is spying on me. It was on the arm of my sofa, and I hadn’t touched it for an hour. My dog is in my lap, and having to move my dog to get up I said, “I’m so sorry to have to move you.” Out of nowhere my phone replies, “It’s okay.”

Yes, I do. It has the biggest battery made for a phone. I only need to charge it once in two or three days, no matter how I use it. (I mostly use my phone to read books with occasional phone calls or text messages with friends.) It takes great photos (I have to cut them down for myLot to accept them.) and I can add MicroSD cards to increase the onboard storage. (The current MicroSD card is 256 GB.) Currently, I still have 12 GB free of onboard storage. I know I still have GBs of online storage available because I've never used any of it. Yes, I have a good Android phone. No crappy iPhone for me!

@AmbiePam Sometimes I just want to talk tech! I wasn't trying to impress you. I've had to help so many people with bad iPhones that I'll never switch.

@AmbiePam When customers asked for help and their eyes lost the shine, I knew I was going into too much detail and trimmed the talk back to a more basic level.

@DaddyEvil I did tell him he explained things in a more simple way than my BIL, and he cluelessly said, yeah, your BIL is kind of nerdy, isn’t he. I didn’t want to burst his bubble so I just smiled. But really, what is that old “joke”? Nerds shall inherit the earth…

I have a Galaxy S22 and it's okay, but my battery doesn't seem to last long. Some of our kids have Androids and some have iphones, but I don't want to learn a new operating system.

Vicki, you’re smarter than I am, so if you ever do have to switch, it won’t take long for you to get the hang of it. That being said, I’m always nervous about having to learn new operations systems too.

I use my phones just for messaging and voice. The rest is taken care of by my camera and computer.

Just now
My phone is not new, it's a Huawei and it's an excellent phone. This company was banned in the US, surely too good, they feared the competition.

iPhone 13 user here, no regrets. It cost me $800 when I got it, but in terms of Swagbucks money and OfferUp acquisitions and odd jobs acquired through having reliable phone communication, it’s paid for itself by now.

Yeah, if you’re going to travel, you sure as heck want to be able to show off the actual beauty of the place.
