Poor Ole Kit

I feel so bad. Our oldest cat, Silver, got locked in the closet. My grandson was looking for something and each time we go in my walk- in closet the cats follow. This time he went in and my grandson forgot he was in there. I just happened to hear a cat scratching on the door. I thought it was weird that the other cats kept coming in and wondering around. They could hear him. Poor fellow. He was in there about 6 hours.

They do that The moment we open our cupboaord they rush in and we have to bring them out There are times they stay there for hours and we only notice when we go there to open the cupboard again Luckily they survive.

At least he was just in a closet and not locked outside. He was still safe in your house... I'm glad you found him, though.

@celticeagle Think of it like this, you didn't shove him in the closet. He chose to go in and could have come back out when your grandson did but chose to stay there instead. You had nothing to do with that. At least you heard him calling to be let out and didn't ignore him.

I guess at least kitty was in a closet not locked in something like a fridge- that happened to us once but the meowing told us that somebody was in trouble so kitty wasn't in the cold too long.
