That Beautiful Laughter

This is my second daughter when she was 18. She was about to attend a ball in school and had her hair and make-up done. I was too proud having a lovely daughter like her. I was the one who took the picture and I am very proud that I was able to capture this beautiful moment.
I am not really good at taking pictures. I seldom took good ones but I think this is something I can be proud of. or may be she's just so gorgeous that it turned out perfectly well.
Am I being biased? Please...understand me. I am her mother anyway!

No no. Not at all biased. To be honest by the time I had read your first paragraph a few of my thoughts had already took shape for responding. But as you're asking if you are biased, you're her mother, etc I will still continue with my original thoughts.
What I wanted to say is that, we as strangers, still feel the emotion and the beauty in the picture. Then as a mother why won't you? You are really lucky to have such a beautiful daughter!

Thank you for your kind words. I do appreciate it very much. This is just so precious to me being proud of taking a good picture with a beautiful subject and as a mother who has a fine young lady.

The picture did turn out lovely... Whether it was your skill with a camera or her beauty that did the trick doesn't matter.

I totally understand you! You’re not being biased at all — that’s just a mother’s love speaking, and it’s beautiful. She truly is stunning, and the fact that you captured that moment yourself makes it even more special. Sometimes it’s not about being a “pro” at photography — it’s about the love behind the lens. And in this photo, that love really shines through. You should definitely be proud — both of her, and of this beautiful memory you preserved.

She is gorgeous. That smile could light up the darkest night.
You did an amazing job of capturing this moment. I'll bet it's hard to believe it's been seven years since you took this photo.
