And that is why I don't care to be "on trend"

I'm always a year or 2 behind things that are popular like Sanuks, Hey Dudes, Vineyard Vines, etc. I don't follow trends and my sister tries in vain to keep me up with things. Patagonia never took off for me. I'm not trying to pay $100 for a sweatshirt.
For Christmas she gave me a "Bogg Bag" which is an ugly-ass rubber pool bag. Fine. She's the one who goes to the yacht club and who vacationed in Turks and Caicos. I had just been using my old work bag from Land's End to bring everything to the pool. I
I've been using this Bogg Bag thing for a month now and I'm so over it. It is too small. I don't go to the pool with kids or anything but I still need my sunscreen, my book, my bottle of water, my towel, my glasses, etc. I can barely fit everything into it. The short straps make it difficult to walk with it over the shoulder.
Like I'm just trying to make my life easy. This bag is ugly and stupid. I don't care about looking trendy. I will sell it after this pool season. It is awful.

Why are they so expensive?
I don't see $100 in those things

I have only bought things that suit me. And never too expensive. I bought my last sweatshirts in Aruba. They were 3 for 12 dollars. After 4 years, they are my "new" shirts.

I like what I like, and I think your sister must love trendy stuff…I would just sell it now, and use what you prefer to use.

I don't know what any of those things you mentioned are... I'm just going to assume they're a rich person kind of crap.
