Good Morning from Sunny Mississippi!

We woke up to beautiful blue skies today and a slight (very slight) breeze. I'll take it vs. humid and no breeze at all. Just hope the breeze continues throughout the day!
We will be doing things around the house today: tackling the kitchen since it has been neglected for the last few days, laundry, and then heading outside or maybe I will reverse it all and do chores outside first. I have already fed all the animals, but need to go back out and change water out in the chicken coops. That will not take too long.
I also need to do a little bit of weeding in the garden and pick some crookneck squash. I also need to see what else is happening there, any new blooms, veggies, etc. I also know that I will need to stake some tomato plants in the next day or so.
Other than that, I need to run to town to the grocery store and pick up a few things that are on sale, since today is the last day.
What are your plans for the day?

I did "officially" until 2017 after the flood. We were already staying here full time and driving into work since the drive was so much nicer and only 15-20 minutes more than getting home outside of Baton Rouge. We were both done with the subdivision, the neighbors, traffic and all that stuff so our weekends up here kept getting longer and longer and we chose driving in to work vs. staying in BR. We had one of the girls and her boyfriend living in the house in Louisiana to keep anyone from breaking in to an empty house.

Yes, have to make a few here too. Noticed that my car payment was still active on my bank account. Apparently, they forgot to send the payoff to the new financing company for the new Durango. The lady I spoke to at the bank told me she put a hold on the payments and I sure hope so! I don't want two car notes this month. You know the refund would not show up very soon either.

The weather is really nice here too this morning but I keep getting alerts on my phone that thunderstorms are moving in. I love the picture you posted.
Hope you get everything done on your list today. I don't have any specific plans other than the usual stuff to do around the house and figure out what to make for dinner.

It is low key here today also. I took care of some things outside...still need to do chicken water and run to the store. I am feeling tired and want a nap. So, I am going to get those things done and probably take a nap. If not, I'm going to lounge in bed and read.
