Black bear seen taking a nap in a hot tub in Florida

Thanks to the teamwork of the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission (FWC), the Punta Gorda Police Department and a bear management biologist, they came to a resident saw a black bear who entered the backyard of a residence on Sunday June 8.
The black bear was taking a snooze in the hot tub of the resident after the bear removed the cushions off the couch underneath the lanai and fell asleep.
Employees of the FWC then placed a trap on the resident's home and used humane methods to make the bear to leave the property the same day.
The black bear then to rest at another property that was empty until employees of the FWC were able to remove the bear to another location safely on Monday evening.

Snoozing in a hot tub; you would have thought the hot tub would be too hot for the bear, but maybe it calmed him into taking a sleep.
