Class Reunion

So, my 50 year reunion is coming up next month. I went to one in the early 90's but haven't been back since, and I imagine this will be my last one. It is just such a milestone. I am not sure any of the people I knew really well in HS will be there, but maybe some will be. I am going to go with friend. Have you gone to any of your class reunions? What was your experience?

I have gone to some college reunions but will not any more. I have never even wanted to go to my high school reunions.

There have been two reunions arranged and I was away for both of them. This next year ….school year ….we turn 60 and there is talk of another reunion ….they just can’t decide on a date. As The Mister and I were in the same year at school it would be nice for us to go but it all depends on the date.

Almost 50 years since I left the school
I have never been to a reunion
I have bumped into people from school and I do keep in touch with one guy who was in my class

Nope, I was never interested in going to any class reunions... Several people contacted me about going but none of them were friends of mine... I told them I wasn't interested in seeing any of them... They left me alone after that. The people I was friends with in school just stop by my house, so I'm good. *shrug*

Going with a friend is a smart move it gives you a built-in comfort zone and makes the whole experience more relaxed.

No I haven't attended any reunion. I am a person who doesn't have attachment to places...I talk with my teachers online and have connected with a few of my good friends online too. So, I don't feel the need to visit them
