Loose tortoise that was lost returned to its owner in South Carolina

Surfside Beach Police Department officers with the assistance of wildlife officials were able to locate a tortoise that belongs to a resident on Wednesday June 11.
The tortoise was seen in the streets of Surfside Beach when the police officers determined that the tortoise was not a native of the area.
After the word got out of the lost tortoise go on social media, the owner of the tortoise was reunited with his pet the same day when the employees of the animal shelter where the tortoise was being taken care of.

One good thing about a tortoise on the loose is that it would not get too far from where it was lost, as they are slow movers. It was good it was found before a car crushed it to pieces.

It's good for it's posted in social media.. And the presence of mind of the police officers that the turtle was lost.
