Cars for kids

In the Chittering Museum, we saw these model cars that someone had made. All they need to make them go is a battery. Pedal cars are probably more common but imagine how kids would enjoy driving these around. The metalwork is very professionally done.
You can gauge the size from the rather large teddy bears that are reclining in the seats. Whoever made these would have been a very popular granddad.
I didn’t get a decent photo of the car on the left of the lower photo but it was a very authentic-looking army jeep.

Wow, they all look amazing. Can you imagine if you saw a load of children driving these into the school playground each morning.

Very cool cars and yes we would have been racing them. Back when I drove I was considered a very fast driver and the number of speeding tickets wasn't good. My mother would have wanted to drive one also and I very likely would have had second place.

But, I thought the stick and rock were quite fun. We used to play with them for hours.

Why are they only in a museum? Wonder why they are not in the market.

@JudyEv Looks like someone had a lot of time to spare and used that time to create these that are only show pieces.

Kids certainly would be in their glory driving those cars around. My neighbors kids had battery operated cars that they would ride along the sidewalks but they were nothing near as authentic as those in your picture.

I bet the kids had fun in those cars. I don't know how fast these would go.

I like the size of the model cars that were posted on this site.

Those are cool-looking. I know my 30-year-old would have loved them as a child and love them still.

@JudyEv So true. Our grown boys never seem to outgrow their childhood toys.

Those are REALLY cool...and the fact that they are operated by a battery is even better.

@JudyEv I'll bet they're worth a lot. I know the pedal cars are.

They are very nice cars for the kids actually. They seem to be very expensive in my country
