Going up to NOVA today for a little party for son and nephew. Sis also wants to walk around OLd Town Alexandria which I haven't done for years, but I will see about that. I would like to, but I don't want to have to drive back down here in the dark. Also, I won't enjoy it too much if it is humid. I will think about it. It seems like a hassle. What's on tap for you today?

That sounds fun and beautiful. I am cleaning today. Looking over bills and relaxing some. I have a chicken dinner with rice and corn planned as well.

@star_disgate You live in Phoenix? May I ask what it's like? Next year I may visit cause its not too far from where my daughter lives- easiest for us to visit with her that way.

@sallypup It's mostly hot. But I love it. You can go 2 hours in almost any direction and get snow during the winter. We also have beautiful landscapes. But there isn't much to do out here.

I wouldn's want to drive in the dark. I worked on getting my final wishes in order on paper. Now I can go to the lawyer and the bank.

@LindaOHio I think it is likely I will live well into my 90's, but it is equally likely that I won't. One reason why I need to start doing chair yoga is my rotten balance. People who can't balance well are more likely to die.

It sounds like a fun day. I would enjoy the old town. I don’t mind driving in the dark, but I don’t like all night driving on trips. The ex used to do that all night driving thing sometimes and he is a scary driver!

I really don't see that well in the dark, and it makes me nervous. If it feels yuk outside, I won't enjoy walking around Old Town. However, will see what time we get done this evening.

I do OK in the dark driving...except if it's dark and pouring down rain. Then I just don't want to drive, it's hard to see. I hope you had a good day visiting.

We had another quite hot day here today
So we never went out until 5pm

It's a fun place, I had some friends who had their wedding reception there. It has cobblestones in places. If I don't go this time, I will try to make a point to do it in the fall but not on a weekend. That's the other thing, it will be crowded as heck.
