Summer 2025 Update

Hello everyone, how are you all doing?
I know, I haven't been around much. I have only been catching up with one or two people daily, and then not even sharing discussions myself. Still need to write about the circus and the 4th of July.
Anyways - my anniversary is coming up on Tuesday. We will be celebrating 13 years! We've been together (even though the first years were at a distance) for almost 20 though.
Hoping to get good news to share very soon - some of you know what this is about since I have been sharing about it off and off this past year. Going to test tomorrow if things are good between now and the morning. Crossing all fingers and toes.
Next week my mother in law will be staying with us for 5 days or so, that will be nice. Eli needs to spend some time with her for sure, haven't seen her in person in a very long time. My father in law should be coming up to visit soon too.
Then, about mid August Eli will be back in school. This time middle school! Oh boy.
Not a whole lot else to share at the moment. I did get a hair cut, and go back to "blonde". It's in quotations because I need to fix some parts where it more ginger. I think I will stay blonde for a while....that way all I need to do is bleach my roots every 6 weeks or so - well may have to wait for 9 months first lol.
Anyways - photo is me with my new hair. What do you think? Oh yes, I did get a sunburn on the 4th.

I think that you're a beautiful young woman. Inside and out. The hair looks nice. The style frames your face and the color compliments your skin tone. I can tell you're happy with it from the hint of a smile on your face.
It sounds like your summer is humming along nicely. I hope you still have time for your art. I hope you get the good news you're hoping for, Court. Good luck.

Thank you. I wasn't a fan of the cut at first...but it turned out much better once I bleached my hair. Now I just wish it was all blonde lol.
I haven't made much art lately, been a busy summer. I need to just make space on my computer to get my art program back.
And thank you, the news has to do with getting a positive test....but after a year of negatives it gets discouraging. Just hope I see that positive tomorrow.

@LindaOHio Unfortunately....and if I get my positive, then in 9 months I would get even less sleep! But I don't really have to go to bed early, just have to be able to get up early.
It's a quarter after 1 here, so I guess 2 hours.

Yes, already going to be going back to school soon...crazy. Not ready for early mornings again!

I hope you have a nice anniversary celebration tomorrow. And, have another good 13 years+. That is a pretty hair color. Goes well with your eye color.

Thank you. Another 13 will get us to 26...then we'll hope for another 26 if we're both still around! Glad you like the blonde/ginger. I always liked having blonde hair most.

I’m not sure what the test was for, but hopefully you can do it again and get a better result.
