A six foot alligator was seen outside of a guest room at the Budget Host Travelers Motel in Alexandria Virginia on Tuesday evening. Police officers with the Fairfax County Police Department with the assistance of Animal Protection Police teamed up the capture the alligator and take the alligator back to its owner who had escaped from its owner who was taking the gator from a zoo from New York to North Carolina. The police officers escorted the alligator and its owner out of Fairfax County since the laws in Virginia forbids possession of alligators and exotic animals. No one was hurt in the incident. If I saw an alligator in person, I would be scared as well.

These gators sure are crafty. They can get out of enclosures way too easy.

That would be very scary to find an alligator outside your motel door.

I would be scared as well if I saw a huge alligator walking outside of a motel room myself.

Perhaps, the budget Budget Motel could not afford security guards to prevent the arrival of unwanted guests, like that.

That’s one wild motel guest! Glad no one was hurt and good on the officers for handling it safely and by the book.
