Mid-Week Coffee Chat

Happy Wednesday Everyone! another hot and humid day with pop up storms in the forecast. This summer the only thing that changes isn't the forecast, just the day of the week. I had all intentions of chatting here yesterday morning while I was having my coffee but the phone rang and it was my friend. The one who always has drama and needs to vent. By the time we finished our call it was nearly time for my daughter to take her lunch break and then the day just disappeared. I'm back this morning, coffee in hand and hoping for no interruptions. My daughter is leaving for vacation on Saturday so I'm trying to get a grocery list done so we can get what I'll need while she's away. She's taking the car so I'll have to rely on my oldest daughter and/or granddaughter if there's something I need. I hate to bother them so I'm trying to make sure I put everything on my list including a few extra snacks I'm excited that two of my favorite authors new books finally were released. I already have them in my Amazon cart. The new season of Big Brother started so that will be our summer tv viewing. I can't believe I'm going to admit to being a reality tv junkie. Can't say there's much going on here today. Anything fun or exciting happening in your little corner of the myLot world?

Big Brother?? I haven't watched that since the turn of the century. There's not a lot going on here either. Or on Mylot Did you get interrupted after you made this post?

I sort of got interrupted. The dog needed to go out and then i figured while I was up I would vacuum and do a few things that needed doing. I don't remember which season of Big Brother this is but it's been on forever.

I have a doctor appointment tomorrow morning so the doctor can look at my right eye. It still doesn't open and Pretty says it's still heavily bloodshot. We'll have to walk the 4 blocks to the doctor's office and home again. (My right eye is my "good" eye and everything is always blurry on my left side.) I made the appointment in the morning hoping it wouldn't be too hot for that walk. Wish us luck, please. (The forecast shows possible rain in the early morning and again in the afternoon.) I hope you get everything you'll need/want while your daughter is gone. I understand about bothering someone when you don't want to bother them.

I'm so sorry that your eye hasn't gotten any better. Hopefully the doctor will be able to help and that walk there isn't hindered by rain.

Reality TV can you really suck you in! I don’t watch it much anymore, but I used to, and they are good at getting people interested. What are the authors you are interested in, do you mind sharing?

I get sucked into reality TV too easily I pretty much like a whole variety of authors (mostly those that write mystery/crime/thriller) but the 2 authors of the books I just ordered are Susan Wiggs and Lisa Scotoline I've probably read just about every book they've published.

I'm glad to hear that you're a reality show junkie too. I am watching 90 Day Fiancee, Virgins and one other one that I can't remember the name of. Nothing exciting happening here!
