Do you even open your junk mail when you get it.???
We look at the envelope and just tear it in half and we do not even open it up.
We look at a post card when it is an ad we got in the mail. That is the only junk mail that we even brother to look at.
Maybe companies should put their ads on a post card that way it would at least be looked at.

I'll flip through some of it but not the furniture flyers... I don't need any new furniture. And I don't bother looking at grocery flyers from the stores I don't shop at. I don't get much "junk mail" these days anyway.

Talking about digital junk mail, whenever I open the folder I make sure that that is no important mail that has by mistake entered this folder. Otherwise it's delete all only. Hahaha...

@Traceyjayne I am trying to understand your postage service. But I fail to understand how junk mails are still delivered physically.

Tear it all up into tiny pieces Judy
It's not readable after that.
But most of our junk mail doesn't have names on it, just says to the householder

Sometimes. I'll look and see if there are coupons. I have got cash in some for filling out their survey. If it's possible that they contain pre paid return envelopes, I'll save them to use to mail things for free.
Most of it gets burned out back if the burn bans aren't in effect.

It used to be that way here too but they quit that and made a law that 3x3 fires in a pit are legal but if someone complains, you need to put it out. You can still have recreational fires and fires for cooking food unless there is a burn ban. Which there is right now.

It depends... If it's a company that keeps sending junk mail, then I'll open it, take out the self-addressed return envelope, stuff the rest of the stuff that was in the mailer into the return envelope and send it back to them. (Only for the return envelopes where the company is paying the postage, though. Let them throw their own trash away and pay for the privilege.

I usually look thru it unless I am pretty sure from the envelope it is something I am not going to want.

My husband looks at it if he gets the mail and than he tears it up and throws it away.
