Would you eat pasta with strawberries?

I just saw a clip about it on the news. Apparently a female Polish tennis player said that "strawberry pasta" was her celebratory food. It is a thing in Poland. Typically it is egg noodles (though you could use any pasta) topped with mashed fresh strawberries and some kind of dairy like sour cream, farmer's cheese, yogurt, etc. Um. . . NO. Just no. I don't have anything against any of those ingredients on their own but HELL TO THE NO on them all together. I don't like fruit in my food. I will eat almost any fruit on its own or in a fruit salad but don't put it on my food. I don't want mango salsa on fish. I don't want strawberries, blueberries, or cranberries in my salad. It is funny because I saw one of the pool chicks for the first time over the weekend and somehow she mentioned something about me not liking fruit in my food. I was like "how the hell do you even remember that?!?!?!?!" I will eat pasta. I will eat strawberries. I will eat yogurt. I WILL NOT eat them all together though. Would you?

No mango salsa?! I don’t blame you; it doesn’t sound good even if it tastes good to me. I thought I could try the strawberries and pasta until you mentioned sour cream. Can’t do that.

No, I'd rather not try that unless I'm starving and even then, I'd try to separate the ingredients if at all possible. I eat all three of those but not together. I want sweets after my meal, not mixed in with it.

I would try it. You say you don't like fruit with your food - surely fruit is food? And I am very partial to fruit with other things, I'm totally the opposite to you. I often put chopped apple or grapes or raisins or orange slices in salads. I love the fruit and meat combinations - pork with apple sauce, duck with orange, lamb with redcurrant, turkey with cranberry etc. I've never tried fruit with pasta but pasta is just a neutral base so I guess it could go with anything.

Nope I prefer to eat fruit alone (or mixed with other fruit) but not with savory dishes.

I might try them but pasta and fruit would stop me. I like peach with a steak or pineapple with barbecured meat but can't imagine fruit with pasta.

Yes Pasta and Strawberries is actually quite good. More people should try it and make it a trend

I might try it, but it doesn't sound that good to me. I have heard of stuff like chocolate lasagna, but I don't think it uses real lasagna noodles.

I actually saw this on a morning tv show the other day. They all tried it and half of them said it was good. But, I'm not that adventurous and wouldn't even be interested in trying it. Like you, I do like pasta and strawberries but not together.
