It's Friday

Happy Friday Everyone! it's a wee bit cloudy here today but at least it isn't quite as hot as the past few days have been. The storms that were in the forecast bypassed us and we didn't even get a drop of rain.
My daughter is officially on vacation and will be leaving for a week away early tomorrow morning. She took today off to get all her stuff packed and for us to make sure I have what I need before she goes. Walmart made a delivery early this morning and they only shorted us a few things and thankfully none of them were that important. Just a few things I can do without and if push comes to shove I have my older daughter and granddaughter close by to rely on.
Work has been so stressful that I'm happy my daughter is able to get away and enjoy a vacation with her friends.
Even though I won't have the car for this upcoming week, I have plenty to keep me busy. I'm never bored as there's always something to do around the house, I have a pile of books to read, plenty of tv shows to watch and if the weather isn't too hot I can spend time outside.
I might even have more time to spend here on myLot

I hope your daughter has a really restful holiday and that you also have an enjoyable time. A week alone might be nice but I'm sure you'll be pleased to see her back.

I hope everything goes well for you and your daughter.
We're getting rain/storms right now and have been getting rain/storms all day so far. The weather radar seems to be showing the rain for us will be done shortly. The afternoon high is supposed to reach 89F.
Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday are all supposed to sunny and HOT! The predictions are for us to reach 92/93F all four days. I hope it's wrong!

According to the forecast, the typhoon will be quite close to Hong Kong on Sunday. I have to stock up some bread and groceries.
