1. Job Interview I had passed my first job interview with flying colour. It was to the point where I called my headhunter over the phone to do a post interview review, he told me that I had done well enough to be granted a second round interview with the CEO and the directors. I hope that I will do well enough to be offer a job eventually. This is a job I really want as it is a role that give me an opportunity to serve the people in need. 2. Visiting my sister tomorrow My sister underwent her slip disc surgery last week. So the entire clan are suppose to meet up at her house and visit her. I had not seen her house before since she moved away from her rental house. 3. Wife tooth woes For some reasons, my wife had some trouble with her tooth. After her outing with her company, we went to see a dental specialist. There was some root canal or gum fracture. Unable to do anything, she will have to extract her tooth. 4. Collection of the government SG60 vouchers Starting from early next week, to celebrate my country 60th birthday, my government give all citizens above 21 $600 dollars in voucher ($300 for grocery and $300 for hawker food). That is on top of the usual amount of vouchers given to the families. I am excited. It will help us to reduce our monthly expenses.

Hawker food are street food located in a fixed location and there are lots of tables and seats for everyone to consume their food no matter who they buy the food from. Usually it is open air and the food are of sufficient portion. They are cheap too (from $2 onwards). In one hawker centre, we have have about 20-25 stores housed there so there are a wide variety of food.

So three positives and one that will be a positive once the tooth is extracted... I'm sorry your wife is in pain but, hopefully not for long. Good luck to her! Getting extra money is always nice! Congratulations!

Thank you so much, Indeed, having tooth pain is the worse thing in life. I experience it myself as well. Hate that feeling to be really honest.

@id_peace You're very welcome! I agree... I still have that broken molar but, as long as it doesn't hurt, I don't want to lose the tooth.

The government grants seem quite generous. They should certainly help with your daily expenses.

Good luck with getting the job. Hope your sister recovers quickly, it’s nice that the family are all going to see her. Root canal work is the worst….hope the pain goes soon. Hey, vouchers, that’s a great idea …what will you get with yours ?
