We are having a very cold winter. And although I have spent a lot more in heating, still I have been staying a lot in bed.
I don´t want to spend more money in doctors and meds and most people around have colds. Ever since I had neumonia I discovered that I had to take good care of myself.
The pneumonia was not only scary (and it lasted a lot) but the 2 days at the hospital were very expensive.
So I take care of myself.
I stay most of the time in my bedroom and even bring my food here. I eat, watch movies, read and mylot here. My only problem is that my legs should have more excersise.
What do you do during the the day?
Now it is time to sleep. Good night, friends.

@marguicha This area is very safe, but I prefer if my husband comes with me, so he also walks.

Pretty and I mostly stay in the house because it's really, really hot here. I walk around the house, cook, make food, clean, read books on my phone, watch movies and YT videos, do laundry and, once in a while, go outside and work around the yard when I can walk without my sciatic nerve screaming at me and when I can see...
If you can, you need to walk around in your bedroom, to the door , back to your bed and around your bed as much as you can to keep your legs moving and so you can still walk when spring arrives.

I know I should. Today I walked aeound because the day was warmer. I even washed some garments. But then I discovered a couple of pains (the sciatic nerve abd one knee). So now I´m in bed again with some Diclofenac unguent on them. The Diclofenac stinks I don´t understand wht they don´t add French perfume in them.

@marguicha I'm sorry you're hurting again... I use an odorless Aspercreme gel for aches like that.
I was prescribed diclofenac for the sciatic pain a few days ago. It's really not helping so I've been taking the diclofenac, an over the counter pain relief tablet and a powerful muscle relaxant (Soma) for the pain... I'm not in pain now...
I'm glad it's warmer today but wish you didn't have so many aches and pains.

@marguicha yes, you can always try that. It will help your legs be more stable and stronger

This weekend has been very boring and lonely. Nothing is going on.

@marguicha No. I might still have Hulu through my SIL. I get bored watching TV.

I'm glad you take care of yourself. When I had pneumonia it was horrible. I had to sleep setting up so I could breathe. It lasted for what seemed like forever. I was off work for weeks and I was a single mother so that was interesting financially.
Take care.

I write and research topics on the laptop, in the afternoon I might lay down and read and also nap then stay online till about 7 PM and get ready for bed and read until I am sleepy, When I feel like it I watch my DVDs, videos, or YouTube.

If I’m not well I tend to stay in bed. Either asleep. Reading, or watching tv ….netflix
