First Hibiscus Bloom

This is the first one of the season. There will be many more. At least they last more than a day. The prickly pear cactus has 2 open on it today too.
I have Pretty cat locked in the back room now. She doesn't seem to upset. But I pet her every time I go out and in. And that's a lot doing my walks.
The kittens finally started exploring while I was watering the plants this evening. They freaked out this afternoon when Sh ithead went in to say hi. I thought he maybe had one down the way it was screaming. But when I got to where I could see he was just looking at it like she was nuts. Silly girl was on her back and not shutting up

That's a beautiful hibiscus. I loved the flowers on your cactus too. So pretty. Poor Pretty cat. I wonder why the kitten was screaming?

Pretty stopped using the litter box for some reason. Only a cat would know.

That Hibiscus is lovely. Animals can be so amusing (and frustrating)at times. Got to love them.

Sounds like a typical girl to me.
My eyes are swelling closed... I've done some cooking and cleaned up the kitchen again. And slept.
