I went for my job interview yesterday morning. It was at a rustic little sleep part of the town. Out of three persons in the interview, I knew two of them. Even through one of them may not know who I am. I think I would do well enough to get an offer but I am not too sure if that will be the case. My head hunter will help me to get the result next week. I will keep everyone updated here.
My father's lung cancer operation are to be schedule on 12 Sep 2025. We decided to go for a second opinion instead. According to the doctor, he could do it on 8 Aug 2025 which is about 1 month earlier but it costs about $80,000. With our insurance program, we are saying, "Yes let do it."
On the investment front, it continued to be smooth, I had some additional fund which ended up spent on some supplements and also a course that will teach me more on ETFs and a live watchlist for $295 dollars (USD 220). I am close to the end of the month and I am left with just a couple of hundred dollars since my budgeting. Hopefully I will be able to survive till next Thursday where I get paid.
How are things on your side of things?

@DaddyEvil Oh yes I do have that. I can still work miracles with that 6 days and 300 dollars. Worse come to worse, I will cook at home.

@id_peace You're very welcome.
As long as you still have food and water, you should be fine for a few days.

Hope your Dad's Surgery goes well. Job hunting wasn't easy for me, but I just kept a positive attitude and been with the company over 27 years that I work from home. It was finding the right position.
