Two days with no web.

Decades ago we talked about water as the only important thing in the world. Then came electricity. Now things are getting out of hand. We need internet, smartphones and TV and a lot of other things to be happy. And unfortunatly for two days we have been out of internet. In other parts of the country they have not had electricity. But I am egoistic and if I have electricity I don´t mind. The last time I was out of electricity for 3 days was after a great earthquake. I used my gas stove and looked at the closed fridge for a while to remember where I had what I wanted before I opened the door. II missed mylot these 2 days. I will read your posts now. I have missed you. See you.

It's so good to see you back here! I was getting worried about you! I'm glad it was only your internet down and nothing more serious!

I still have small tummy problems and my butt hurts a bit. It seems that the web gets fixed easier than human beings.

@DaddyEvil Today I called Leticia. We had a long talk . It was all about ailments. Lately, we don´t have other conversation subjects.

@marguicha True... I'm finding out things are more durable than our bodies as I get older.

We pay the cell phone plan where both of us get hot spot in case the internet goes down during a hurricane. So we can each still use our phone and use the hotspot for the TV, or the laptop.

I don´t know if we have that here. But lately, I spend a lot of money in meds so I don´t have money for a better phone plan.

@thislittlepennyearns I could not pay so much for meds. And I certainly cannot pay for the cellphone plans my daughters have.

I am glad you are OK, Marga. I've been without electricity before for extended periods due to bad storms, I know that isn't fun. We all rely on the internet now, I am guilty of that.

These 2 last years we have had more wind than before. I´m not sure if it is climate change.

Yesterday I had company so it was better. But being alone is a pest.

It’s funny how our list of “essentials” keeps growing—first water, then electricity, now Wi-Fi and our beloved gadgets. And when one goes missing, it feels like the whole rhythm of life is off. Two days without internet? That’s survival-level stuff these days! But hey, at least the electricity stayed on—small mercies, right? That earthquake memory puts things in perspective though. A gas stove, a silent fridge, and a bit of creative patience go a long way. Glad you’re back and reconnected. You were missed too—see you around!

When I was 3 days with no electricity I preferred to throw away all sea food and fish although it seemed fine. But you never know.

Yes, the internet has played a main role in our lives. Without it, I can not even pay. Today I don't need much cash and I get used to pay by phone.

We have become spoiled. I never thought I'd get a cell and now I don't know what I'd do without it. And I love to get on my computer and do research on things. I would really miss it if our power went even for one day.

I haven't really missed you because I've been away too. I am worried about my notifications disappearing before I get to them.
