This post and photo has to be for both @LindaOHio and @NJChicaa. Here is a non vegetarian photo of my non vegetarian supper. I grabbed a can of tuna and butchered it then made milk gravy. That, of course, was after I made pie pastry. Green beans and onion bits from the freezer and canned peas: that is what went into the innocent pastry.

Is milk gravy a white sauce. I’ve not heard it called that before….i do love a good pie …they look very tasty.

@TracyJayne It's gravy. I just know that many folks don't add milk when they make gravy.

@Traceyjayne Gravy with tuna is kind of like cream of mushroom soup with tuna- maybe it's just the U S that eats tuna noodle casserole?

My sister and I ''invented'' a salmon pot pie years ago. A white sauce, with the drained salmon, celery and onions and a big carrot chopped and sauteed, cooked freshly cut diced potato. Mixed it all together and put it in the crust, added the top, and baked...it was really good. I bet your tuna pot pie was good!
