Firefighters in California rescue a cat from a house fire

Firefighters from the Fresno Fire Department answered an emergency call on Saturday night July 26 about a house fire that was located on the 4300 block of Gearheart Boulevard. The firefighters were able to rescue one cat that was inside of the burning home safely. Over 20 firefighters were able to douse the fire which suffered moderate to major damage. The cause of the fire is being investigated by the authorities. Even though the occupants of the housefire have been displaced, at least no one was hurt. Link is msn.com/en-us/news/us/...

I feel bad for those homeowners who lost their home but it's always good news to hear they got out safely as well as the cat. That cat certainly is one lucky kitty

Losing a home is a bad thing but a home can be rebuilt, a life cannot be replaced according to many people I know who went through disasters.

It would be interesting to know what caused such a fire, whether it was carelessness, or a building fault in the wires, perhaps. That is a major headache for the owners, who will take a long time to recover from the event, even if they are uninjured, their emotions would be shot badly.
