Thursday ~ Rainy Day

Happy Thursday myLotters. 
We had a welcomed cool front pass through our region last night which brought some much needed rain. I love it when it rains at night.
This morning it is cool, almost cold outside. The temperatures will even out as the day passes. The next several days are supposed to be quite nice and dry. That is great given the fact that it is a long holiday weekend here.
It is also delivery day for me. I ordered a nice pair of leather sandals this week from Soft Moc and they are out for delivery now.
We are taking a few days to get away during late August, and it seems like everything is on sale, and I've managed to pick up a couple of outfits and a new pair of shoes now.

I am loving this cold front!! We needed a break from the heat, for sure. I plan on enjoying the respite!

@MarieCoyle No we are too easterly to experience it just yet.
I remember we had it awfully a couple of years ago, but that was from wildfires right within Ontario here that were burning.

I hope you enjoy your sandals and the cooler weather. It was 69F here today (20.5 Celsius). I wish it could be 65-75F every day and stay light until 9 pm. That's in my fantasy world!!!! Cousin #3 canceled because it appears COVID is going around again.

The reason that I am so excited for a new pair sandals is that the swelling in my left foot, which has been bothering me for a couple of years, is gone. My doctor changed one of my medications, and since then my ankle is fine. These are good leather walking sandals which will last me for a long time.
The next few days should be just beautiful weather.

Weather here is unstable these days. Sunny and at times heavy rain and thunderstorm. Need to bring an umbrella when going out.
