Happy Friday everyone!
I'm here at home today and not going anywhere just like yesterday. I've had a blood pressure issue pop up with my blood pressure sky high. So, I am taking it easy and staying indoors as per my doctor's orders. New medicine has been called in and I'm not sure that my husband will pick it up today or wait until tomorrow. We are waiting for the diuretic to get out of my system now and hopefully things will settle down.
This also happened to my husband's with another diuretic and it made his blood sugar shoot up to almost 500. I'm afraid to even check that right now. Just odd that it has reacted on both of us. Since we have both had strokes in the past, I can only relate the issues to these side effects to that one thing--people who have had a stroke in the past, beware of diuretics.
Hope you are all having a nice day!

Honestly, that doesn't surprise me at all with all the running around you do. It stresses me out just reading about it. Time to just do what is essential I think and what makes you feel oeaceful and let the rest go. Hope it all works out. Deep breathing is good .

@snowy22315 Not since the blood pressure issue. I do not want to be hospitalized to get blood pressure down.

I am so sorry you have had so many health issues lately. I know you are sick of being sick...I hate being sick. I hope whatever new med the doctor prescribed for you doesn't spike your BP, that's just serious and worrying. Stay inside and rest!

@MarieCoyle Exactly, nobody knows how it will react with your system. So it is trial and error. I need the errors to take a vacation!!

I have had similar experiences with some prescriptions. They do call it ''practicing medicine'' for a reason--they are practicing, often on US!!

I take very few meds, only what I absolutely have to take. I feel many doctors have a tendency to overmedicate us much of the time.

I wonder what may have caused that. My blood pressure has been fine since I was on meds for it. Fingers crossed it stays that way. But who knows. That reminds me, I have to look at when my next cardiologist appointment is because I need to get blood work done to check my cholesterol which ticked higher for some reason.
