Nothing Today

Goats are getting even more expensive. They didn't have any ducks at all. And the pigs I liked went a little more than I wanted to go. But they did have some little ones this time. They did have a couple of big boar hogs that went for about 10 dollars each. If I had a butcher date lined up I might have got one of those. Many people don't like the meat from them but I don't mind it. It does often have a stronger flavor.
Did the mowing when I got home. That didn't take very long. I even ran the weed whacker. Everything looks nice again. Now I will just relax. Only need to water plants and put the chickens up.

I think George would rather have a little piggy friend rather than a big one... I don't like the strong flavor of boars. It's just too much.
I did dishes, cleaned counters and the stove this morning... Nothing else happening here.

@wolfgirl569 We butchered our own meat but dad castrated the bulls and boars while they were still young so the meat didn't taste strong.

I did . I used to have a roommate here who"s uncle shot a wild boar. Best pork chops I ever ate;

No. I only have bad allergies in the fall when they are harvesting the soy beans
