What color are garbage trucks where you live? Here in the East Bay, they are blue.
When Kitty first started enslaving me, she would run from "at my feet" to the closet until the Big Blue Monster had done its thing.
My apartment has a dumpster view. I do not pay extra for it.
Just now, the garbage was collected. She did not flinch. She did not even flick her tail.
Have you ever "had" a cat? Did they get used to things that used to scare them?

Kitty is used to living with a big monster. I'm surprised the monster outside bothered her at all, considering the human colored one she lives with.

They are different all over. I think ours are blue here. We just use the dumpster.

The ginger cat we had never got used to thunder and would become virtually paralysed whenever the rumbling started. He never improved.

I’ve never had a cat ….dont know much about them.
Had an amazing dog once who hated a particular theme tune to a soap opera. Every time the music played he left the room.

He doesn't seem to be very scared when the mail lady delivers a package now. I think he has gotten used to the sound of the mail truck

Ours look like giant dinosaurs because they are green, and they make as much noise too, My cats hid in the closet until the noise stopped and the guys moved on,

The color of the garbage trucks in my neighborhood are dark green. The stray cats in my neighborhood get scared when they see an adult walking towards them in the front yard.
