It's raining, but not pouring.

I wonder how much is the distance between her school and her home.

She is always happy to give me a ride. She is two years older to my elder one, I get that motherly feeling with her. When she was new, I would give her a ride in my car. Now, she has got her driving license. She is proud of that and loves to show me her driving skill

@DaddyEvil I left home with my umbrella closed, and the sun god was smiling. In about 15 minutes or so, he was kidnapped by gray clouds, so as I started to return (walky walky) the drizzle started. At about 100 steps or so from my home, the rain drops became larger, I got into a cellar of an apartment. Hoping that the rain would cease after a quick shower. Turned out to be 2 and a half hour wait. Even after that, the streets were inundated, and walking across the water took away all my energy (I am 66). The water was pushing me in a direction I did not want to go. Saving grace? My two stray dogs had a great time with me, because they tend to follow me around when I go out. So they were there all the time with me in the cellar. The younger one on my lap because she was scared of those thunder noises. Bonding just got deeper, and yesterday I received lick on my cheek...normally I don't hug, but I did and put my cheek next to its face and it happily licked. Shy lick. I don't like being licked, but ...well, she is just like a pup. Chichi. LOL. Someday, I hope to bring her to my flat. She just has to grow a bit older and quieter. LOL

Did you go walking in the rain, vanny? It looks and smells like it could rain here but the forecast says only a 20% chance of rain today and clear skies tonight. Our temps reached 88F/31C this afternoon. (The forecast said we'd reach 95F/35C this afternoon.)

@vandana7 Oh, how lonely that poor puppy must be to lick you on the face, as if you're the only human who was ever nice to her. Did licking you hurt her tongue? Sometimes, it's too fun to tease you.

Hope you enjoyed watching the suspension bridge. We had good rain today in the late afternoon and evening. It was pretty bright and sunny to start with. I loved the weather today

I don't use microwave. I avoid it as much as possible. I would generally make hot rice. So, dal and sabji made in the morning time are at room temperature and go well with hot rice. Sometimes some leftovers from previous day have to be heated, I would mostly use pan on the stove.

Oh! I see. Wish I could send some rain and clouds that side. We are having rainy days since the last two months. It's very cold here now.

These come to rescue if I am caught somewhere

I am doing okay. Doctor says that I am fully recovered from the surgery. I just need to listen to my body and go ahead with my normal life. I always carry an umbrella. The weather is very unpredictable here and we get rain at any time throughout the year. I am not very comfortable with raincoat and boots. You are right that they give full protection.
