Well, I just completed my bi annual deep clean of the microwave while I was waiting for my toast ito pop. It looks almost like new. I had washed the carousel last night in the DW. I do usually wipe up the microwave as I go along, but still needs a big clean sometimes I think. Talking about the DW. It made two funny noises last night. I hope it was just a fluke. Do you deep clean your microwave?

@id_peace A mini oven? you mean like a convection oven or something, or a toaster oven? You might want to try an air fryer sometime. They are quite versatile.

I try to keep my microwave clean daily so that I don't have a big mess to clean uo. I make sure that anything that can splatter is covered because the worst is trying to clean the top of the microwave, Mine is over the stove and it's hard enough to reach

Yeah, the one over the stove is hard to reach. I hope I can get it fixed before the holidays. Love to have two microwaves available then.

I'd be lost without my microwave. I consider it in the same vein as a coffeepot. if one breaks, and I don't have a spare..it is an immediate trip to the store..or I would order online if I could get it the next day.

I wash the carousel about every three months and Pretty wipes out the inside while the carousel is air drying.

I don’t really think I have often because I’m good at making sure the food is covered, but I know the “roof” of the microwave always stuff has on it I didn’t notice. I double check every three months or so just to make sure it doesn’t get too bad.

I have spilled stuff in there before that has gone under the carousel. That is always a mess.
