Happy Saturday y'all
it's a bright and sunny day which is a great start to the weekend.
For fun today, my older daughter is coming over for lunch so I'm excited to have a girls afternoon.
While here she and my youngest daughter (who lives with me) are gong to flip my mattress. It's been needing flipping for awhile and I can feel myself sinking a bit in the middle. Hopefully flipping it will give it a little more life before I have to think about a new one.
Im sure we'll find plenty of other "fun' things to do while she's here.
What's on your fun agenda for this weekend?

I am sure you enjoyed your time with your daughter.I got my groceries delivered from Walmart but had a few tough moments with the driver who spoke no English but I managed to tell him where to deliver my groceries

How nice to have an opportunity to visit and enjoy eachothers company for a while. I wish my granddaughter could come for a visit. She lives in Washington state. We haven't seen her for several years now. Thank goodness for Facebook and Messenger.

I know you'll really enjoy having your girls there.
I bought a nice thick mattress topper to wait a while on a new mattress. Actually I have two toppers (helps with Fibromyalgia.)

Great that you can spend time with your daughters ….
Did your mattress get flipped ?
It’s The Misters Birthday today so we went out for breakfast then to an antique centre. We have had a lovely day.

We have a pillow top mattress so we have to rotate it and cannot flip it.
But I love it just the same.
It is on the 'things to replace before I retire bucket list' for 2027.
We average 8-10 years from our mattresses, and longer from the box frame.
Nothing exciting here today.
I was over at our son's place this morning, I picked up take out from Tim Hortons and treated him to a coffee and TimBits for the girls.
He just posted his really old (2013) car online to sell-he's worked from home for 12 years, and hasn't needed it since shortly after he bought it. Time to sell it since it is just depreciating in value as it sits in the driveway.
They need to spend some money on the house-finishing the basement and other odd jobs, but after that, if they feel the need to have a second vehicle they can buy one then.
Of course he did ask me if he could borrow our older SUV next Saturday to go golfing with the guys. It is out of town and I insisted that he drive our VW, which is newer, as I do not trust the older one out of the city. I hope that this doesn't become a habit, I should have told him to take their vehicle and leave ours for Klaudia in case she needs to transport the children someplace, it has car seats in it. But burning your parent's gas tank down has always been better than burning your own down.

We flip and end-for-end our queen-size mattress from time to time.
