As most of you know I live in the eastern United States. Most of the apartments and trailer parks here and some of the individual house communities will not allow anyone with a felony on their record to live there, no matter how minor or long ago it was. Some cannot even get work!
A neighbor just recently moved and he moved out west but some of his adult kids and grandkids could not come with him. One being someone has a felony on his record, therefore he is sleeping in the trees behind our building.
Yet a felon can live in the White House! Go figure!

That's a pity that he's sleeping in the trees.

@LindaOHio Same here! A friend of mine who is off and on homeless in Florida called me today and we both have medical conditions including Arthritis. He told me that he has options to move and not be homeless at all back here in Virginia or Pennsylvania, but he wouldn't be able to handle the cold.

@dfollin I couldn't be homeless in the winter. I'd have to move to a warmer climate.

A felon in the White House...and it's evidently accepted. We live in a very strange world.
