Several people in St. Louis Missouri saw a small female dog outside of a car repair shop in early August.
The employees of the car repair shop took the female dog to the Stray Rescue of St. Louis where the employees at the animal charity found that the dog had a microchip.
The employees of the stray rescue contacted the owner of the dog to give him the good news that his dog who went missing for over a year was ready to reunite with him.

Many list and/or stolen pets are reunited with their owners through microchips. I consider them a good thing. I’m glad the owner gets the little dog back.

I am in agreement with you that microchips reunite dogs and their owners.

After helping with all the misplaced pets from Katrina, it really hit home how easy it could be if the pet had a microchip!

I guess this shows that microchipping has its value, but I am not a big fan of it myself, not liking to insert something into a dog's body like that.

I agree with you that microchipping a pet is uncalled for.

That's a good news after a year of missing. Our son-in-law threw away our male cat which is very naughty but after several weeks it gets home. So we just take of him. Now he's too old now.
