Team members of the Louisiana State University (LSU) are doing their part of giving back to the community by packing meals for the local food bank in Baton Rouge one week ago.
The football team supplied close to 40,000 meals to people in 11 parishes in one hour which impressed Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank president Mike Manning who is impressed that around 175 football players are doing their part to assist people in Louisiana.
The program of assisting the food bank in Baton Rouge has been going on for four years.

That is true since I would read a good story instead of sports crimes.

During the eruption of Mt. Canalaon here in our place, many benevolent and generous citizens give several packs or boxes of foods and bottled water abd meds to the victims who were housed in the city evacuation centers.

That is true since the food banks in Louisiana need all of the meals that can receive right now.

It is good that a whole team could get involved like that, and 175 players was a good number to join in that packing

Two of our local high school teams help with food banks here. They are polite, kind, and fun to know and work with. It's good to know that our teens are civic minded and want to help others.
