A Very Simple, But Tasty Dinner

Sometimes you just have to throw some things down and use your imagination. Not that there's anything special or unique about the dish I made last night. I have seen other renditions of this, and have probably made something very similar before. But it was all just pretty much "off the cuff," so to speak. I browned up some ground beef, drained it, and set it aside. Then I chopped up some onions and red bell pepper and cooked that together with some mushrooms. Meanwhile, I took a tablespoon of flour, one packet of French onion soup mix and 1 cup of water and whisked that all up and returned the meat to the onion and mushroom mixture before pouring in the soup mix mixture. Then I went in with one can of cream of mushroom soup. All the while egg noodles were boiling and I added them to the mixture simmering in the pot. It was definitely good eats.
